New Zealand Food

On 28th August 2006 the New Zealand Food and Beverage Taskforce released a report entitled Smart Food, Cool Beverage. The report is a number of recommendations from the New Zealand Food and Beverage sector to the government.
The recommendations were increasing the productivity of the sector, increasing investment in research and innovation within the sector into higher margin products and increasing support to exporters to the northern hemisphere and Asia.
The New Zealand Food and Beverage sector recognise a need to improve takeup of technology transfer and collaboration within the sector. The report is put forward as a call to action within the industry...
